Flag Differential Calculus> inverse-trignometric-function...
question mark

y=arcsin x,i think it cant be a function bcoz for a given x say some 0.5 we get many y values like 30,150...so we hv to call it as inverse trignometric relation??

hi shabaaz

arc sin x is a function

it is a inverse function of sine x in which the domain is [-pie/2 , pie / 2] and range is [-1,1].

that is why range arcsinx is [-pie / 2 , pie /2 ] and domian [-1 ,1]
