Dear upendra

y=(1+x2 )

dy/dx  =2x

it is clear that at infinity slope is maximum ie tangent is parallel to y axix

Hi Upendra,

y=(1+x2 )

dy/dx = 2x

2x is maximum when x--->∞

the slope of tangent is maximum when x tends to infinity and y also tends to infinity.
