what is Rolle's theorem.how to apply for a function?

Dear Kopur,

           Rolles theoram is applicable only for continuous function in [a,b] and should be derivable in (a,b). According to this theoram if f(a)=f(b) then there exist atleast one c in the interval (a,b) for which f'(x)=0. It means that at the point c graph changes its concavity.
