if a function is given then wats the easiest way to find the range n domain of tat.

wats the formula 4 calculating number of 1-1 & onto functions.

Dear  mohit ,

for general functions you find the range of innermost functions in case of composite functions and proceed outside the bracket with the range of inner functions as its domain. example : √sinx .  range of inner function is [-1 , 1] . take domain of outside  function from this range . that will be [0, 1] for this domain range of outside function is [0 , 1] .

for 1-1 onto functions , find maxima and minima of function and that will be the range's minima and maxima provided the function id coninuous.
