wat is the range of log(base 3){log(base 12)(x^2+4x+4)

we dont have negative value inside the log function for that  log(base 12)(x^2+4x+4)  
has to be greater than zero. but it has base 12 so
(x^2+4x+4) has to be greater than 12 for  log(base 12)(x^2+4x+4) >0

 

therefore      (x^2+4x+4) >12

 

x^2+4x-8 >0

(x-2)^2>0

 

this implies          domain is          x>2

Range is    {-R,R}
