hello mariyam, thanks for asking. in class 8th, an ideal time of srudying would be 2-3 hours daily. the only thing that is important is that you will have to be regular with these timings. you cant study for 3 days and then skip 5 days. regularity is what is needed. if you study daily for 2-3 hours (science and maths), then you will have a strong grip on your foundations.

Dear student 
  1. Study your NCERT first , Then go to heigher level Books 
  2. Try to attempt olympiads Math , Science etc.
  3. I advise you to join JEE coaching offered by premier institute like Resonance , etc .
  4. More focus on Numerical Solving ability.
  5. Focus on Math is must , you should be very sharp in Mathematics because it is the base of all subjects.
