What are future aspects in automotives after doing it from a renowned university like iit madras???

I am at IIT Bombay and my placements have just been done.
Considering the fact that all the older IIT’s have same placement opportunities. There are 3 different options

1) After doing automotives you take a core job
A core job is a job related to your engineering field, for automotives there are lot of companies which come giving job profiles like Automotive Design, Battery Management, Fuel Optimization etc. so options are there

2) After attending college you decide to pursue a non-core job
non-core can include that you dont work on your field but in some other field like consulting and finance etc. THese prospects are same for all the brances as long azs you have an aptitude for it.

3) Higher studies
you go for a PhD or an MS, this again is not as much dependent on your branch but on your academic performance in IIT, and as far as i am aware there is a demand for good automotive researchers at US univs so that scope is really good for your branch
