These are two statements from IIT Main 2018 Information Bulletin
15. If a candidate passes Class XII in 2017 but writes one or a few subjects in 2018 for improvement or
any other reason, then top 20 percentile cut-off for 2017 will be considered.
17. If a candidate passes Class XII (or equivalent) in 2017, but writes any of the required subjects in 2018 for improvement or any other reason, then the aggregate percentage will be calculated by considering the maximum marks obtained in the required subjects. 
Which Criteria will be consider by IITs aftar improvement for 75% marks to be eligible for admission ?

							Yes, your new marks will be considered for JEE in 2018.

About NAT : IIT council and MHRD have decided thatNAT (National Aptitude Test) may not replace JEE anytime soon. JEE Main and JEE Advanced, two stage exam format for admission in IITs, will continue for 2017 and later years.

On 8th April, 2017: MHRD has confirmed that there will not be any changes in JEE 2018 exam format except ofdispensing 40% board marks weightagefor calculating the JEE Main ranks.
