each molecule of a gas have slightly different kinetic energy. To calculate the average kinetic energy  of a sample of a gas, we use an average speed of the gas, called the root mean square speed .. 
its depend upon the moleular weight and the temp . 
so,option no a will turns out to be the correct option here .
