Sir, it’s urgent.... please reply (I am posting the question again)M&C IIT Kanpur or M&C IIT Guwahati?Which has better placements (in terms of packages and % placed ) and are there any shortcomings because of the B.S degree in Kanpur? as in B.S in Kanpur v/s B.Tech in Guwahati. will there be a difference in jobs?

m&c kanpur is definitely better if you want further research opps and good placements. even though its a bs degree, it shouldnt be a problem. people do phd in cs and math and have high posts in different companies. also guwahati is new and too far, so many companies coming to kanpur dont come all the way to guw. go for kanpur, its not bad at all.
