Sir, I have got 976 obc in jee advanced 2014. I am confused for choosing branches, should i go for old iits orgo for core branches in new iits.

Congrats!
I suggest you should definitely fo to old IITs. You can get chemical & civil at old IITs.
Best options for you: Chemical & Civil (IIT D, IIT K, IIT Kharagpur, IIT M, IIT R), ECE (IIT Guwahti), CS (IIT BHU).
