your expected rank 2000-2500 i dont think you will be getting good branch.if you are interested in any dual course or phy,chem,maths then its ok in any old iit but you can go for ism dhanbad here you will be getting your desired branch(chemical.civil,electronics,mining). but according to me you can try in new iits here you can get good branch and moreover the branch you are selecting must be interesting thanks and regards sunil kr askIITian faculty
