HI Injila,
The major crowd puller for kvpy scholars is the IISc, since admission to IISc through kvpy is much simpler than through JEE Mains/Advanced.
Other than that, the seven IISERs in Pune, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Behrampur and Tirupati also give preference to kvpy scholars during admission.
Also IIIT H offers admission to KVPY scholars via a different mode. That is via an interview and a written paper.
Also, IIIT D also offers bonus points to KVPY scholars in their admission criteria.

no , u need not to attempt any other entrance test if u can qualify kvpy ./ 
direct admission to iisc bangalore and all iiser including NISER , and DAE , MUMBAI ,, 
and also iit delhi offers some kind of scholarship if u want to do bsc or msc in research work .
