I am looking for Mechanical branch in top 6 IIT. If unable to get in Roorkee then which next IIT should be considered , though I have 100% chance to get in BITS PILANI. How will you rate IIT Guawahti compared to BITS & BHU IT, IIT Heydrabad .

IIT Guwahati is old IIT and has good reputation than IIT hyderabad and BHU, but BITS is comparable and slightly better.
