Wish you luck for a bright future in engineering, Let me tell you one thing that getting an entry at IITs is ammater of good luck and hard work together. You must join some good institute for coaching and practice a lot to make it happen. For rank – both general you must set your level high like for nineties at least so that you don’t depent on category rank, but if you have to even thaen at least your board score must be pleasing. My opinion is to check details of these universities as well – Anna University, Chennai,.............JJTU, Rajasthan,.............Lovely Professional University, Phagwara,.............BHU, Varanasi
