How much I need to score (apprx.) to secure a rank under 1000

iit jee advanced changes the paper poattern every year interms of the total marks , so, you need to secure at least 790 percent mark to get a rank under 1000 , still it depend upon the paper toughness level as well as how others performed in the exams .
