Dear Siva, the admission to Indian Institutes of Technology is a two stage process. The first stage is JEE-Mains, which is a screening test for IITs and also a common entrance exam for Undergraduate Engineering admissions for all NITs and CFTIs. The second stage is JEE-Advanced held exclusively for all 16 IITs and ISM Dhanbad Admission. Candidates who qualify the JEE Mainsonly are eligible to attempt the JEE Advanced. While admissions to NITs are conducted through a counselling process based on JEE-Main Ranking, IIT admissions are conducted through a separate counseling based on the performance in JEE Advanced. Thus how can someone sit for both the counseling,
There is one way out, if a candidate fails to get into an NIT/IIT then there rae some other highly reputed institutions which are peerless in the field of quality education as well ad best ever placements. These institutions are – PEC University, Chandigarh,..............Osmania University, Hyderabad,...............ICFAI Hyderabad,.................Lovely Professional University, Phagwara
