Sir,I have been alloted chemical science and technology in my 1st allotment letter in councelling of 2013 .

I am not intrested in research related work in chem

I am not happy with what ive got as i wont be able to get in any govt. jobs

Is it better to drop it & take up elec/chem in HBTI

What are my future prospectus if i accept cst

Will i be able to work as an engineer in a commercial oil/gas related company

Please reply A.S.A.P. as ive got less than a weak to decide

Hi,

The chemical science isnt all about research. There are numerous applications as well which may interest you.
The job prospect of Chemical is also bright. Although there is not lot of govt jobs, but the private jobs are in abundance. Companies like Shell , Schlum, Reliance recruit chemical engineers every year.
So if you are interested than the bracnh is chill, less work load.
