i am an obc(ncl) candidate and got a rank of 2555,which college and branch would i be able to get and what do you reckon should i do as i have already completed my first year at nit jaipur.So should i go for the branch and the iit you recommend or should stay at the nit ?

You have not mentioned in which branch you are doing Btech from NIT. I think, Rank 2555 is not so much good that you will get good college and branch of your choice. Do not waste one year time, Better to stay at NIT and prepare for GATE/CAT and do M. Tech from IIT Bombay/Delhi or IIM from Ahmedabad.
