i am expecting a rank around 400 to 600 (OBC) in JEE 2012.kindly suggest me which is better for me out of B.Tech or Dual degree for following branches according to my rank.1.electrical2.mechanical3.chemical4.civil

Dear udit patel,

I want to congratulate you first for securing a good rank in IIT-JEE 2012.

I suggest you to go for B.Tech over a Dua Degree.

Here is the preference order that I suggest you to take while opting for B.Tech as these branches have far greater scope than the branches coming below them,

1.Electrical

2.Civil

3.Mechanical

4.Chemical

This according to my experience and analysis is the correct order and this must give you a clear cut idea to opt for Electrical over other three courses.However if you are not interested in Electrical,then you can go for Civil for sure because I feel it is an evergreen branch with a lot of opportunities and scope.
