Is biotechnology iit delhi a discipline involving research or more like applied engineering. Also what are the placement and other opportunities and available packages in core and non core jobs. According to the current scenario is their much scope for this branch in India or is it still basically centred around the west ??????

It’s more of research oriented branch although going over in older IIT’s you will get oppurtunity of good placements..
