Always go by your interest!!!
Applied Mathematics si an MSc degree,but if u r really interested a lot in mathematics and dont mind pursuing an MSc degree rather then a BTech degree,u can choose Roorkee
The payscales arent bad either
Now,NIT Trichy ECE is the most sought after branched through AIEEE
so,its upto you to decided whether you want o go by your interest or follow the general trend
my personal suggestion is: if you are interested in Maths,u can do PhD in Maths later,or even study Maths by yourself with the help of some books,but u will miss the opportunity of being an engineer {remember,u cant do nething later by regretting}
so,think twice before you take a step
THANKS
plzzz approve my answer if u like it :)
