sir I HAVE GOT 4483 RANK IN IIT JEE 2010.AFTER FIRST ROUND COUNSELLING I HAVE GOT PETROLEUM IN ISM DHANBAD. BUT NOW THERE IS NEWS THAT 469 SEATS IN OBC CATEGORY WHICH COULD NOT BE FILLED HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO GENERAL QUOTA. LAST YEAR CLOSING RANKS OF DIFFERENT BRANCHES WERE: MINING IN IIT KHARAGPUR :3950 ELECTRONIC IN BHU:3700 CIVIL IN BHU:4600 CHEMICAL IN BHU:4600 CIVIL M TECH IN BHU: 4700 BIOTECH IN IIT GUWAHATI :4100 THESE ARE THE BRANCHES WHICH ARE ABOVE PETROLEUM IN MY CHOICE LIST SO SHOULD I APPLY FOR THE 2nd ROUND OF COUNSELLING OR SHOULD I ACCEPT IT WITHOUT GOING FOR THE 2ND ROUND I NEED TO TAKE MY DECISION AS FAST AS POSSIBLE AS I NEED TO SUBMIT MY DECISION BEFORE 8TH JULY.
