Hello sir ,i have got air 1285 in iit jee 2009,what branch should i take and where.will i get mech in kharagpur ,it closed at 1214 last year. what abt chemical at iit kanpur

Dear Sumit,

At this rank the best option for you to pursue would be Civil, Bombay. Goin with your interest if you wish to take mech.  at  Kharagpur, the cutoff rank will vary to some extent as some of the seats has been increased in some of the departments of different IITs but i hope it isnot going to be more than 50 above the stream you are choosing.
