why noctiluca is considered a dinoflaggate after many exceptions?

HELLO ANSHU,
Dinoflagellates have a haplontic cycle with the possible exception of Noctulica with the possible exception.
The lifecycle usually involves the asexual reproduction by means of binary fission,either through desmoschisis or eleuteroschisis.
But Noctulica is an exception because of its diplontic life cycle but dinoflagellates will have haplontic life cycle
