A beekeper keep beehives in crop fields during the flowering periods for production of honer to maintenance of hives.
Honey bee also produces bees wax, honey is a food of high nutritive value and also find use in the indigenous system of medicine.

A beekeeper keeps beehive in crop fields during the flowering period because bees are required to pollinate their flowers so fruit can be produced.
This in turn is also beneficial for the bees because bees take up the nectar so that they can produce honey.
