Abiotic components mean non-living things. The soil, water and air on the surface of the earth constitute the physical components. The climatic factors like sunlight, temperature, rain, humidity, wind, etc. are also abiotic components.
All these abiotic factors are important for the growth of plants. They are also very important for the growth and development of animals.
