Urine formation and the excretion of wastes is one of the primary functions of the kidneys. The kidneys also help to maintain blood composition, pH and osmolarity, and regulate blood volume, blood pressure and red blood cell production through hormonal mechanisms.
 Antibiotics are the proteins which are released in response to an antigen. It is a prominent protein which is used for the defensive mechanism.
