Phyllotaxy is the pattern of arrangement of leaves on the stem or branch this is of 3 types alternate,opposite and whorled.

`Phylo` means leaves and `taxy` means arrangement. So simply it is arrangement of leaves on stem and its branchesThree types- alternate, opposite, and whorled phyllotaxy.
