Phyllotaxy is the pattern of arrangement of leaves on the stem or branch this is of 3 types alternate,opposite and whorled.

`Phylo` means leaves and `taxy` means arrangement. So simply it is arrangement of leaves on stem and its branchesThree types- alternate, opposite, and whorled phyllotaxy.

phylotaxy is the arrengment of leaves on the stem is called phylotaxy .There are three thyps  as given below;
    ALTERNATE PHYLOTAXY;The arengment of leaves at each node one leaves in an alternate manner .Ex;mustard
    OPPOSITE PHYLOTAXY ;The arengment of leaves at each node two opposite leaves ..Ex ;guva
     WHORLED PHYLLOTAXY ; The arengment of more then one leaves at each node and form awhorl manner ;Ex nerium
