HI SRISHTI
ANSWER: SYMPTOMS OF A DISEASE ARE THE CHARACTERSTICS THAT ARE SHOWN BY THE AFFECTED INDIVIDUAL ONLY. SIGNS OF A DISEASE ARE THOSE CHARACTERSTICS THAT ARE SHOWN BY INDIVIDUAL BUT IT DOES NOT PROVES THAT THE INDIVIDUAL IS SUFFERING FROM THAT PARTICULAR DISEASE ONLY. HENCE IF A PERSON SHOWS A SIGN OF A PARTICULAR DISEASE IT DOES NOT PROVES THAT THE PERSON IS SURELY SUFFERING FROM THT DISEASE
THANKS
NOTE:OTHERWISE AT YOUR LEVEL THERE IS NO SUCH PARTICULAR DIFFERENCE IN THE TWO SO THESE TWO TERMS CAN BE TREATED SAME IN ORDER TO PREVENT CONFUSIONS

for simple terms u can say symptopms are something which appears sometimes befor the disease occurs .
and sign also have the same meaning , that is feeling of uncomfortability some time before the disease ,
but in scientific words we are calling it as symptoms .
