Peduncle is the stalk which support a group of flowers while pesicel is the stalk which support single flower.
Thalamus and receptacles are same. it is also called torus. it is tip of pedicel.  Thalamus is the thickened part of stem where flower. it is formed by the condensation of internodes of the floral axis.
