In fragmentation the parent organism splits into many parts or fragments and each fragment develops into a new organism.
Regeneration is the process of regrowth of a damaged tissue or part like our nails, hair.
Fragmentation does not occur in all animals but there is regeneration capacity in all organisms upto varying degrees.
