Mitochondria is a membrane bound organelle found in eukaryotic cell having diameter of 0.2-1.0µm and length 1.0 – 4.1µm. Each mitochondrion is a double membrane bound structure. These are the sites of aerobic respitaion they produce energy in the form of AdenoTriphosphate (ATP), also invove in other cell processes such as cell division and cell growth. Asthese are cell power producers thats why these are called “Power house of Cell”. It divide by the proces of fission
