Hello Student,
Locule in plants is referred to cavity within an ovary of a flower or fruit. Fruits are divided on the basis of no. of locules in ovary as unilocular, bilocular, trilocular or multilocular. For example, tomato is bilocular which has two chambers.
Septum is a partition that separates locules of a fruit. In certain fruits this partition occurs by convulated foldings of fruit membrane that doesnt divide the fruit completely but chambers are demarcated.
