Steroid harmone helps in protein synthesis.It binds intracellular rececptor and forms a harmone receptor complex.These harmones maintains homeostasis by feed back controlSterols like phytosterol ,cholestrol helps as precursor to steroid harmone.Hyperthyroidism is harmonal disorder caused by excess of secretion of paratharmone(PTH) . Excess secretio of PTH leads to tumours in glands and the calcium present in bones are reabsorbed and raises blood calcium level
