What enables archaebacteria to survive in extreme conditions

in ncert its written that ARCHAEBACTERIA DIFFER FROM OTHER BACTERIA IN HAVING DIFFERENT CELL WALL STRUCTURE AND THIS FEATURE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR SURVIVAL IN EXTREME CONDITIONS.....page 19...also they have branched chain lipids in their cell membrane which also makes them to survive in exteremities
