Translocation is the process of transferring the metabolic product of photosynthesis (carbohydrate) from leaves to the different parts of the plants.
Translocation takes place as the result of either positive hydrostatic 'Pushing force' like that of water flow through the garden pipe or by negetive 'pulling force' like that of suction force through straw while drinking juices.
