Please differentiate between vauolar and transmembrane pathway?

The vacuolar pathway is related to the movement of water in the plant cell with the help of vacuole present in the cytoplasm whereas transmembrane pathway or symplastic pathway water has to pass through plasmalemma at least at one place. It is aided by cytoplasmic streaming of the individual cell.
