Hi Anmol,
Thank you for asking
First of all i will make you clear about what is zinc finger.
Zinc finger is the structural motif(region) where you will find coordination among one or more zinc ions in order to stabilize the protein fold. Zinc finger analysis is nothing to do with DNA fingerprinting steps.
Now coming to your next confusion about DNA-DNA hybridization.
DNA-DNA hybridization is one of the event of PCR(Polymerase Chain Reaction).
Here i’m providing the step wise representation of DNA fingerprinting
1. DNA sampling (collection of DNA sample)
2. Formation of RFLP(Restriction digestion length polymorphism) by Restriction enzymes
3. Polymerase chain reaction (to amplify the RFLP). During this phase DNA-DNA hybridization occurs.
4. Autoradiography (Development of DNA pattern in the form of varios bands)
Hope the answer of the question.
