The male reproductive organ of an angiosperm is stamen or androecium and the female reproductive organ of an angiosperm is pistil or carpel or gynoecium. The stamen consists of a filament and another. The anther contains four microsporangia within which microspores or pollens are developed. The carpel consists of stigma, style, and ovary. Stigma is the landing platform for pollen grains. The style is an elongated part beneath the stigma. The ovary is the basal bulged part of the pistil. It contains ovules. Pollen and ovule are reproductive parts of angiosperms. The ovary is located in the flower. Ovules develop into seeds after fertilization.
