In Kingdom protista, under Slime Moulds and Protozoans, Plasmodium is studied in both of them. Why is that so?

Dear student 
Both are different plamodium. 
In protozoa it is sporozoan. Plasmodium that cause malaria.
In slime moulds the aggregation of many nucleus in cytoplasm covered by a cell wall.
So the names are same but both things are different.
