DEAR STUDENT ,
WHEN DO WE SAY THAT AN ORGANISM HAS MULTIPLE ALLELISM FOR A TRAIT???/
ONLY WHEN, ALL THE ALLELES OF A PARTICULAR TRAIT ARE EXPRESSED , AS IN BLOOD GROUP WHERE ANTIGEN A AND B BOTH ARE EXPRESSED WHEN PRESENT TOGETHER, HENCE LEADING TO BLOOD GROUP AB.

BUT HERE IN CASE OF CAPSICUM COAT COLOUR, THE COLOUR OF THE COAT IS EITHER RED OR GREEN OR YELLOW, NO TWO COLOURS ARE EXPRESSED TOGETHER, IT IS MORE OF A CASE OF POLYGENIC INHERITANCE WHERE A NO. OF GENES CONTROL A SINGLE TRAIT( COAT COLOUR IN THIS CASE) AND THEIR LITTLE VARIATIONS RESULT IN A NEW COAT COLOUR.
