Hi,
Its not logistic; it is logarthimic
It is logarthimic= the growth occur in a pattern like (20,40,60,80,100)
exponential is another word which explains the same above thing.
Logarthimic or exponential represents the growth of cells in an proper pattern.

If the growth pattern is not logarthimic or exponential then one can not get and sigmoidal curve.
