Approved Tutor Answer8 Years agoThe diploid human genome has approximate 6.4 billion bp. The length of DNA wrapping around the histone octamer is147 bp and if we take 50 bp as average length of linker DNA. (6.4 billion / 200) = 3.2 x 107nucleosomes.
