There are usually 8 haploid cells in the female gametophyte of a flowering plant: 3 antipodal cells (at the opposite end of the embryo sac from the egg) 2 synergids flanking the egg (located at the micropylar end of the embryo sac) 1 egg cell. If helpful then leave a comment
