Smoking tobacco increases carbon monoxide (CO) content in blood and reduces the concentration of haemoglobin + oxygen This causes oxygen deficiency in the body.  
over here carbon monoxide prepare a strong bond with haemoglobin
thuus reduce the supply of oxygen
