- All the non reproductive parts of ther plant are diploid.
- Megaspore mother cell is diploid but then it undergoes meiosis so all the cells in female embryo sac, be it synergids, polar nuclei, antipodals and egg will be haploid.
- Similar is the case with microspore mother cell which is diploid but it undergoes meiosis to form haploid pollen grains.Tube cell, generative cell will also be haploid.
- After fertilization zygote formed will be diploid. In angiosperms triple fusion occurs between one male nuclei and 2 polar nuclei cell leading to formation of primary endosperm nucleus having triploid ploidy level.
