Restriction endonuclease is a enzyme that make cuts at specific positions of DNA.
Firstly restriction endonuclease recognizes a specific sequence called palindromic sequence, these are the sequence of bases that read same both forward and backward.
Then it cut the DNA strand just little away from the centre of palindrome sites, and leaves single stranded portion at ends.255-1652_Capture.PNG
