Ginkgo biloba, known as ginkgo, also spelled gingko is the only living species in the division Ginkgophyta, all others being extinct. Yes They possess archegonia.

Yes gingko possess archegonia. They belong to gymnosperms.They are also an example of living fossil.

             Yas ginkgo have Archegonia,Ginkgo is also known as Ginkgo biloba,it is considerde to be a dioecious,or (possessing) male and female organs on different trees.The phylum to which ginkgo biloba belongs  is the ginkgophyta.

One of the megaspores in ovule which results from meiosis enlarges and undergoes a succession of free nuclear divisions. after about 8,000 haploid nuclei are produced, cell walls begin to form. After female gametophyte becomes cellular, archegonia (normally two) are initiated at surface toward micropylar end of ovule. An archegonium consists of neck cells and a large egg cell.
