Dear student
Axon: It is single and very long (several metres) and of uniform diameter, itCarries nerve impulse away from the cell body to the next neuron.
Dendrites : They are short (under 1.5mm), heavily branched and tapering, it Carries nerve impulses from synapses towards the cell body.
